If your school has just joined the LangLion Platform and you have a list of teachers, groups and students, we can help you import them into the system.

Below is the most important information on how to prepare a data file:

• the list of columns in the file and their order must be exactly as in our template. If you do not have any data, leave the column empty and do not delete or hide it. Any additional data that is not included in the import file template must be entered manually into the system after import,
• we do not separate data with empty lines,
• group names should be entered in the Groups sheet in column A and assigned to students in the Students sheet in column R. The group names must be identical, so it is best to use the „copy” and then „paste” option. Then we first import the groups, then the students, and they are automatically assigned to their classes. If students are not assigned to specific groups, there is no need to complete this. The assignment can also be performed in the system after import,
• in cells intended for a telephone number or e-mail address, there should be only one number/e-mail address without any additional notes,
• if you want to add parents’ details, please put them in the columns provided for this purpose (parent’s name, parent’s surname, parent’s phone number, parent’s email),
• please enter additional information about the student in the „Notes” column, e.g. additional telephone numbers, e-mails or any annotations,
• the street name column should include only the name with the house/apartment number, the place for the postal code is in a separate column, just as the name of the town should be included in the column intended for this purpose,
• if  you want the student  to be immediately marked as archived on the Platform, please enter „yes” in the X column of the „Students” sheet.
